How do you... coat a cake in hard coating like chocolate.? - hard coat chocolate frosting

Ideas? I just melted chocolate and then poured on the cake, then throw it in the fridge before lol. What must I do to melt slowly and brush, and wait for each layer to harden. I have NOOO idea. Bakeries do, it seems so perfect, but. How can I do?

You may be interested with a paste of powdered sugar. It puts a layer of cake in a clean and perfect is edible. Check with your local craft or cake supply a cake section.

Results It is very difficult and / or can be spectacular!

It's called "ganache" and that's good.

To a glaze or coating: 1 part cream to 3 parts chocolate.
To post a truffle filling: 1 part cream to make 2 parts chocolate.
To fill light 1 by Party Part 1 chocolate cream.

When the ganache barely warm and liquid in a pie or cake is poured for a smooth and shiny glaze.

When cooled to room temperature, a spreadable filling and frosting.

Cooling can be found made of ganache fillings and glazes, or truffle.

(There is also the possibility of a heart that loves chocolate!)

Best wishes!
